# Oracle to offer Google TPUs through its cloud, a first outside Google

Oracle will make Google's TPU AI chips available through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. It would be the first hyperscaler to offer TPUs outside of Google.

**Why it matters:** It breaks Google's hold on TPU access and gives customers a second non-Nvidia option at a time when GPU capacity is tightly locked up by deals. It also signals Google is willing to sell TPUs as a platform rather than only a Google Cloud differentiator.
