Nvidia and Amazon pour billions into AI power infrastructure

Nvidia is investing up to $3 billion in power infrastructure developer Lancium, which already has four gigawatts under contract in Texas. Separately, Amazon is building a gas-fired power plant in Texas with up to 7.65 gigawatts of capacity that could emit an estimated 33 million tons of CO2 per year.
