Nvidia doubles RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell price to $16,000

Nvidia's RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell, a 96GB data-center GPU, now carries an MSRP of $16,000, roughly double its price at launch a year ago and about 20% higher than just a couple months ago. It originally started pre-orders below $8,000.

Why it matters: Rising prices even on Nvidia's own hardware reflect how supply-constrained the AI compute market remains despite the massive buildout underway. For companies budgeting AI infrastructure, this is a concrete data point that compute costs are still climbing, not stabilizing.
