Cloudflare releases open Clef-omni multimodal decision model

Cloudflare released Clef-omni, an Apache-2.0 model built on Qwen3-Omni-30B-A3B. It scores text, images, audio and video in a single call, priced at $0.15 per million input tokens. A smaller Clef-flash variant costs $0.038.

Why it matters: Decision models that score options instead of generating text are becoming a distinct product category, following Microsoft's Decision-1 and Liquid AI's d1. Cloudflare adding audio and video input at very low per-token prices makes routing, moderation and classification cheap to run at the edge, and puts pricing pressure on using full LLMs for these jobs.
