DeepMind's AlphaProof Nexus solves dozens of open math problems
Google DeepMind's AlphaProof Nexus solved dozens of open math problems, including nine Erdős problems, two of which had been unsolved for 56 years. The results were published in Science after peer review.
Why it matters: Unlike recent AI math claims posted without review, this work went through formal peer review, which makes it a more credible data point on AI producing new mathematics. It also sets a norm for how labs should validate AI-generated proofs as the volume of such claims grows.
