Four Gemini 4 Argon agents beat Minecraft autonomously

Four agents running on Google's Gemini 4 Argon defeated the Ender Dragon with no human help. With no predefined roles, they wrote 2,783 programs, exchanged 229 chat messages and died 605 times. The session cost $1,620.

Why it matters: Self-organized multi-agent coordination on a long-horizon task is a concrete step beyond single-agent demos. The $1,620 price tag and 605 deaths show the approach is still costly and brittle, which tempers how soon it transfers to real work.
