Saudi Aramco takes 49% of AI firm Humain for $2.6B
Saudi Aramco is buying a 49 percent stake in Humain, the company meant to make Saudi Arabia a global AI hub. The deal is valued at $2.6 billion.
Why it matters: It ties the kingdom's oil balance sheet directly to its AI build-out, giving Humain a deep-pocketed anchor investor and energy access. It also fits the wider pattern of Gulf capital becoming a major source of AI compute financing, alongside the huge US rounds and Nvidia's supply-chain funding.
