Vercel open-sources durable-harness for crash-resilient coding agents

Vercel released durable-harness, an open-source package that logs every model and tool call. This lets sessions of Pi, OpenCode, Claude Code and Codex resume after crashes, timeouts and redeploys. It runs on Vercel, Postgres or a laptop.

Why it matters: Long-running agents fail often, and replayable logs turn that into a recoverable problem rather than lost work. Making this harness-agnostic suggests agent durability is becoming shared infrastructure, like the recent open-sourced agent sandboxes and harness tools.
