Meta brings Muse AI agent to Mac with file and app access

Meta launched Muse for Mac, giving its personal AI agent the ability to act on a user's computer by working directly with local files and native apps such as Mail, Messages, Calendar, and Notes. Muse previously launched on phones, the web, and WhatsApp earlier this month.

Why it matters: This pushes Meta deeper into the agentic-assistant race against Google and OpenAI by granting system-level access to personal data on the desktop.
