Nvidia Vera CPUs now generally available on Oracle Cloud superclusters

Nvidia's standalone Vera CPU is generally available on Oracle's OCI Superclusters. Independent benchmarking of a local server shows a large memory-bandwidth lead over a dual Xeon 6 server.

Why it matters: Selling Vera as a standalone CPU at a major hyperscaler moves Nvidia beyond GPU-attached NVL72 racks into general server compute, competing directly with Intel and AMD. Memory bandwidth is the bottleneck for many AI-adjacent workloads, so this could pull more of the data center stack toward Nvidia.
